Rowens Newfoundlands are bred with consideration for temperament, health and conformation to the standard for the breed. When we place a dog with its new owner, our first concern is that the dog will be properly cared for with nutritious food, clean water, veterinary care including immunizations, personal attention and training, to develop the Newf into a dog that owners can enjoy owning. Before the puppy goes to its new home, the owner must have in place a fenced exercise area adequate for a Newfoundland. A Rowens Newfoundland Puppy

We feel responsible for every puppy that we bring into the world and should an owner of one of our dogs no longer wish to or be able to keep it, we require that the new owner agree to return the dog to us.

We provide a bill of sale, four generation pedigree and the AKC blue slip at the time of sale if payment is made in full by cash or certified check. The puppy must be examined by a veterinarian within 48 hours for a valid guarantee and returned within 72 hours for a full refund if found not to meet the new owners' satisfaction. All puppies will be examined, have preliminary shots, worm checked and hearts cleared about eight weeks of age, before being released to new owners. Our guarantee is that we have provided a Newfoundland that has no known hereditary defects at the time of sale and has the expectation of a normal, functional life.

Our puppies are priced as to their quality and potential. This is determined by the breeding stock behind them; the temperament, health, longevity and performance in the conformation, obedience and working areas. We want every puppy or adult we place to be what the new owner expects. Pet puppies are sold on limited registration only.

Visitors to our kennel are always welcome by appointment.
